More than 10,000 runners and walkers will celebrate Columbus and the healthy, active lifestyle at the 2025 OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon and Columbus Promise 5K on Saturday, April 26 in Downtown Columbus.

The "Best Tour Of Columbus On Two Feet" features a distance for everybody: OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon (13.1 miles), OhioHealth Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles) and the Columbus Promise 5K (3.1 miles).

Columbus to host Black Girls Run! National Meet Up

All races begin and end on S. High Street adjacent to the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons in downtown Columbus.

The OhioHealth Expotique & Panera Bread Rapid Packet Pick Up for the 2025 OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon will be held from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25 at The Vue Columbus, 95 Liberty St., Columbus, Ohio.

Since 2004, the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon has been the choice for thousands of runners and walkers, showcasing the City of Columbus and its diverse neighborhoods and entertainment districts to runners and walkers from all over the region. Each year, Cap City hosts more than 12,000 runners and walkers, plus spectators and volunteers. The annual economic impact is estimated at $7.5 million.

The OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon also has a long-standing commitment to the charitable community and will continue to benefit the OhioHealth Foundation. Proceeds raised in 2023 will support OhioHealth’s Cold Cap Therapy program, an innovative cancer care treatment that helps prevent or minimize hair loss from chemotherapy.
