The OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon is excited to welcome back Ash Pryor for race day 2026, where she will be on-course cheering on participants as they make their final stretch to the Finish Line.

The OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon has once again been named one of the top half marathons in the country by the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, marking the third consecutive year the event has earned national recognition. The race was voted the #2 Half Marathon in the Country by readers.

Previously voted the #2 Half Marathon in the country in both 2024 and 2025, the event continues to solidify its place among the nation’s elite races.

The OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon is proud to welcome back the First Responders Heroes Challenge as part of the 2026 OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon and Columbus Promise 5K, taking place on Saturday, April 25 in downtown Columbus.
