OhioHealth To Remain Title Sponsor Through 2023
OhioHealth will remain the title sponsor of the OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon through 2023, OhioHealth and M3S Sports announced this week.
OhioHealth has been a sponsor of the Capital City Half Marathon since 2012 and title sponsor since 2015 while the OhioHealth Foundation has been the event’s Official Benefiting Charity since 2015.
“The Capital City Half Marathon has always been a celebration of the healthy active lifestyle and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than OhioHealth,” said David Babner, race director and president of M3S Sports. “OhioHealth is a remarkable community leader in health and wellness and we are proud to continue to have them as our Title Partner for at least the next four years.”
As part of the agreement, OhioHealth will provide complimentary race photos to all participants beginning this year. OhioHealth will also become the title sponsor of the OhioHealth MommyMile, an event that celebrates motherhood that M3S Sports recently acquired and will produce for the first time in June.
“The Capital City Half Marathon provides an exciting opportunity for OhioHealth to partner with a premier road race that shares our mission to improve the health of the community,” said Sue Jablonski, Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at OhioHealth. “The Capital City Half Marathon is about more than running; it’s about practicing a healthy lifestyle full of physical activity, good nutrition and fun.”
More than 13,000 runners and walkers and 35,000 spectators are expected to take part in the 2019 OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon in downtown Columbus. In addition to Cap City and MommyMile, M3S Sports also produces the OhioHealth Emerald City Half & Quarter Marathon; OhioHealth First On The First 5K; 5th Line 5K presented by OhioHealth and the FORE! Miler presented by OhioHealth.
