Nick Arciniaga, one of the nation's top long-distance runners and a member of Team Under Armour, outlasted defending champion Craig Leon to win the 2015 OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon on Saturday, May 2 in downtown Columbus. Arciniaga, of Flagstaff, Ariz., finished in 1:05:56. Leon, an Ohio University graduate now living and training in Eugene, Ore., ran 1:06:40. Uber Technologies, a smartphone application connecting riders and drivers, has signed on as an Official Transportation Partner of the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon, Race Director David Babner announced today.

Columbus television personality Jeff Hogan, spokesman for the popular 10TV Commit To Be Fit program, has been named the honorary race director of the 12th Annual OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon.
Hogan, who has been on the air at 10TV since 1998, anchors the 10TV News morning newscasts beginning daily at 4:25am. Hogan has been a major supporter of the Capital City Half Marathon, which includes the 10TV Commit To Be Fit 5K, and other M3S Sports since he became the face of Commit To Be Fit in May 2012. …read more

The USATF Half Marathon Championships are sanctioned by USA Track & Field and serve as the national championships for the half marathon (13.1 miles).
